New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five of Barnet’s restaurants, cafes or canteens by the Food Standards Agency.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to five restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Cafe Vert at 25 Finchley Lane; rated on March 21st

• Rated 4: Iroko Restaurant, Lounge And Bar at 194 Burnt Oak Broadway, Edgware; rated on March 26th

• Rated 3: Guru Tandoori at 12 Long Lane; rated on March 26th

• Rated 2: 5 Pals at Queens Parade Friern Barnet Road; rated on March 26th

• Rated 1: Venezia at 11 Finchley Lane; rated on March 26th

It means that of Barnet’s 560 similar establishments with ratings, 271 (48%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
