Barnet Post is a not-for-profit publication, written by and for local people; giving readers the chance to learn more about what is going on in their area and to read (and write) stories about what matters to them.
The Post aims to hold power to account, promote the work of local community organisations and voluntary groups, and provide a platform for local people to raise important issues. The Post is an inclusive platform aiming to reflect the diversity of the borough and support local communities to tell their own stories.
The Post is made available to pick up for free at various locations around the borough. It is funded by advertisers and supporters; all income is spent on the continuing production of the paper. If you would like to help us you can find out more about becoming a supporter or you can consider purchasing an advertisement for your organisation. You are also welcome to write for us about projects you are involved with, campaigns you are running, or events you are organising.
The Post is produced by Social Spider Community News, which also publishes of Haringey Community Press, Enfield Dispatch, Waltham Forest Echo, Newham Voices and Barking and Dagenham Star.
