Communities invited to bid for Pride and Windrush event funding before April deadline

Barnet residents can bid for up to £1000 from Barnet Council to celebrate notable times across the year

Barnet residents can bid for up to £1000 from Barnet Council to celebrate Windrush Day (22nd June) or Prime month (June) but must submit bids by 15th April 2024.

Examples of events and activities include talks, food and cooking events, film showings, performances, art projects and exhibitions. Joint applications are encouraged.

Event proposals must meet at least one of the following:

  • Community: To promote community cohesion.
  • Cultural: To celebrate a cultural occasion or event.
  • Faith: To celebrate a faith festival or religious event.
