Smita Bora, Churchwarden, shares this Holy Week’s schedule of worship and celebration at St Mary-at-Finchley

Wednesday 27th March 2024

11-00am Holy Communion

7-30pm Eucharist – Healing and anointing with anointing offered during the service

Maundy Thursday 28th March

8-00pm Sung Eucharist – Communion and Healing (livestreamed)

This service is followed by the ‘Watch’ in the Chapel until midnight. Anyone is welcome to use some or all of this time of prayer.

Good Friday 29th March

9.00am Way of the Cross (for children)

10-00am Procession of Witness

Starting at Albert Place (near Tesco). It concludes with a united service at Ballards Lane Methodist Church.

1-30pm The Liturgy of the Passion (livestreamed)

5-00pm Tenebrae

As the darkness deepens we remember Jesus on the cross.

Easter Day 31st March

6-00am Service of Light with the Eucharist and Easter Ceremonies. This service ends at 6-45am and is followed by breakfast in the hall.

8-00am Holy Communion

10-00am Festival Eucharist with Baptisms (livestreamed)
