Nick Sandamas sees the Bees beat Accrington Stanley

A goal in each half by Callum Stead & Ryan Glover gave the Bees another three points to push them further up the table on a windswept afternoon at The Hive.
The Bees, following two wins in their previous three games, started on the back front as Josh Woods fired an early warning with an effort going over the bar.
Idris Kanu (who was impressive throughout) fired the first effort for the Bees, a curler which sailed wide of the far post.
Woods then fired just wide with another effort with ten minutes gone.
Then, on the quarter hour mark, Danny Collinge found Stead with a long ball but the striker‘s run and shot was kept out by the legs of Stanley keeper Ollie Wright.
Then, on 21 minutes, the Bees’ opener arrived when Kanu’s ball into the box was deflected to Stead whose bouncing shot found the net.
With half time not far off, it was Woods again with another chance to get his Stanley side on level terms, but he shot wide whilst Issac Heath’s snap shot hit the side netting.
The second half saw Kanu come close (on the hour) to a second Bees’ goal, his fine solo run into the area ending with a shot that drifted just wide of the far post.
Changes were made by both sides and, on 78 minutes, the Bees scored goal number two to finish the game off.
Adam Senior played the ball across for the waiting Glover in the six yard box and he hit it low into the corner of the net to double the lead and leave the three points all but sealed.
Woods had a late chance to pull a goal back for the visitors following an error by Glover but keeper Ciaran Slicker got down well to save.
So another win for the ever improving Bees to push them up to tenth place in the table.
Next Saturday they make the long trip to face Tranmere Rovers (in what will be there first ever meeting)
