Fairview New Homes are inviting prospective New Barnet homeowners to get on their bike reports Sophie Mitchell

A housing developer is aiming to attract buyers to its Barnet development this summer by offering them a free cycling tour.
From next Saturday 19th July through to September, Fairview New Homes are inviting prospective buyers of their Park Quarter homes in New Barnet to tour the local area on a free cycling tour running every weekend this summer.
The Park Life tour is an unconventional way to explore Barnet for those interested in moving in. On weekends, between 10am and 4pm, participants can borrow bikes, helmets and an itinerary that will take them through some of the most beautiful green spaces the borough has to offer.
Starting on Albert Road, the suggested route will take riders to Trent Park via local independent restaurant Ripe Kitchen where they can get brunch with a £15 complimentary voucher. The tour also takes riders through Covert Way Local Nature Reserve and Monken Hadley Common before returning to Albert Road. Also provided is a voucher for Everyman Cinema tickets.
Serena and Mattia, moved into the area in Autumn 2024, said of their experience living in Barnet: “We have been exploring the area up to Enfield since we moved in, I really like Chipping [High] Barnet, it’s a lovely spot for breakfast and a walk on a Sunday morning.”
Situated next to Victoria Recreation Ground, Barnet’s accessible green spaces combined with convenient access into central London is a big draw for prospective buyers in Park Quarter.
Nivine Ismail, sales manager at Park Quarter says, “Barnet offers more than 200 parks and green spaces while being able to reach King’s Cross in under 30 minutes, which is a fantastic draw.
“Park Life is intended to invite those who are new to the area to grab a bike, explore and benefit from all the fresh air and greenery.”
