Info: Join Siân Philipps and Per Rundberg for a presentation of ‘From Shadows to Light’, a violin and piano CD presentation. The performance will be interspersed with a talk by Dr. Gintare Stankeviciute.

This CD recording and tour, funded by Arts Council England and Help Musicians UK, came about as an exploration of what it means to be an ‘outsider’ – living on the margins. Most of the composers featured in this programme either experienced this or helped others who had. This resonated with Siân’s own lived experience of being an outsider, when she was forced to leave Vienna where she had lived.
