Nick Sandamas sees the Bees settle for a point on a foggy night in Nailsworth

Forest Green Rovers 0 Barnet 0
Third placed Barnet had to settle for a point following a goalless draw against second placed Forest Green Rovers, which made it a good night for pre-match leaders York City who didn’t play.
The Bees, playing their first game since the surprise departure of star striker Nicke Kabamba to Bromley, handed the number 9 shirt to Lee Ndlovu, who was making his debut following his move from Borehamwood 24 hours before Kabamba’s move.
On a misty & foggy night in Nailsworth, the game failed to live up to its billing as a top of the table clash with very few moments to get fans of either side excited.
The Bees, playing their first game in ten days, showed some early promise with Ryan Glover having the first shooting chance on 24 minutes: he had to stretch to get the ball and his effort hit the home crowd behind the goal.
Next it was Mark Shelton to try his luck but Rovers bodies blocked the ball in the six-yard box.
Callum Stread had a header fly over, whilst the best chance the Greens had in the first half was from Harry Cardwell, who failed to take advantage of keeper Owen Evans’ casualness.
Just 30 seconds into the second half and at last a keeper was called into action, a shot from Stead inside the box forcing Greens’ keeper Jed Ward to brilliantly get his gloves on the ball to push it over the bar.
Idris Kanu shot wildly over from a good position for the Bees on the hour and, five minutes later, the Bees did well to clear their lines and hack a Tom Knowles effort off the line.
In injury time, the Greens had one final opportunity to push for the winner as the Bees pullled everyone back into the box in defence.
Long throw merchant Ben Tozer hoisted a long throw to Harvey Bunker but, luckily for the Bees, Ryan Iniss could only direct his header straight into the grateful hands of Evans, much to the relief of the 164 travelling fans who had made the midweek pilgrimage to Gloucester.
The Bees are now unbeaten in 11 league games and this Saturday make the journey to Essex to face Southend United.
