Flooding concerns had previously been raised during an early consultation on the 350-home plans for Watling Avenue Car Park, reports Grace Howarth, Local Democracy Reporter

A second round of public consultation has been launched on major redevelopment plans in Burnt Oak after flooding concerns were raised.
The 350-home, twelve-storey plan for Watling Avenue Car Park, from developer Linkcity, would also provide a new home for Burnt Oak Library.
The site sits next to Silk Stream, a 2.5 mile-long brook which is prone to flooding.
Residents now have until 9th August to submit their “final thoughts” on the scheme.
Last autumn, Linkcity gathered residents’ views on the plans, and concerns raised included the loss of car parking, the building’s height and density, and the capacity for existing local services to accommodate the increased number of residents.
Barnet Council’s website says proposals had been “enhanced” based on the feedback from the “first phase of engagement”.
