Cricklewood ward councillor Anne Clarke welcomed the news

A Barnet Labour councillor has welcomed the news that Brent Cross will see more public artwork as part of Barnet Council’s new culture strategy.
The strategy was passed by the council’s cabinet on Tuesday 16th April, as part of a commitment to generate more public art in town centres throughout the borough.
This follows on from “Here we come, here we rise” a 21-metre high multicoloured installation by artist Lakwena which proclaims ‘welcome’.
Five new public artworks have been commissioned for Brent Cross.
Cricklewood ward councillor Anne Clarke said: “Labour is ambitious for Barnet, and our residents deserve public artwork that brightens up their day. I look forward to seeing the new artwork in Brent Cross and throughout the borough.”
