The Ann Owens Centre puts diabetes at the forefront this month
The Ann Owens Centre will be hosting free health screenings for the over 40s and and healthy cookery classes for over 55s (£8 for a taster session).
The health checks will be available from 10am until 4pm on Monday 20th November. Over 40s will be able to check their blood sugar levels, cholesterol levels, blood pressure, and height, weight and body mass index (BMI) for free. Book online: www.barnet.gov.uk/healthscreen
The health cookery taster session for the over 55s takes place from 11am to 1.30pm on the same day. Ingredients will be provided Ticket: £8 payable upfront. Tuesday 14th November is World Diabetes Day.
