To mark World FSHD Day, Zoe Myers is hosting a community picnic to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy UK, the leading charity for more than 110,000 children and adults in the UK living with one of over 60 muscle wasting and weakening conditions.

It took Zoe nearly 10 years to finally get her diagnosis of Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy (FSHD) and she is inviting the local community to attend the picnic to raise further awareness of her condition.

The World FSHD Day Community Fundraising Picnic takes place on Hadley Common Green, Barnet, EN5 on Saturday 20th June 2026 at 12pm. It’s free to attend and everyone is welcome. The green is by Dury Road (EN5 5PU) and the area besides Brewery Pond.
