Jiminy Rockit will perform at the Claddagh Ring in Hendon on 3rd July in support of Citizens Advice Barnet

A north London-based pop and rock band will hold a musical fundraising event in Hendon on Thursday to raise money for a local charity.
Jiminy Rockit, who specialise in covering pop and rock classics, will be performing on Thursday, 3rd July, at The Claddagh Ring in Hendon in support of Citizens Advice Barnet.
The five-piece band cover pop and rock classics from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. They promise a lively night showcasing pop and rock classics from artists such as Van Morrison, Bon Jovi and David Bowie.
Ellis Mandelstam, the drummer for Jiminy Rockit, who is also a trustee at Citizens Advice Barnet, said: “This is a great opportunity for me to bring together two important parts of my life: my involvement with Citizens Advice Barnet and my passion for playing music. I hope we pack the place out and everyone has a really enjoyable evening.”
All proceeds from the event will go to Citizens Advice Barnet, enabling the charity to continue to provide free, confidential advice and support to individuals and families in Barnet. The support that Citizens Advice Barnet provides includes help for residents facing financial hardship, housing issues and support with benefits advice.
Louise Broadbent, head of business development at Citizens Advice Barnet, said: “A lot of people don’t realise we’re a local, independent charity and rely on fundraising to run our services, so it’s really special when groups like Jiminy Rockit choose to support us in this way. We’re truly grateful to Ellis and all the band members: I’m sure it will be a great night!”
Doors open at 7pm and the gig will finish at around 10.30am. Tickets are available from Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/jiminy-rockit-fundraising-for-citizens-advice-barnet-tickets-1367291990149
