Last year’s event helped raise thousands for Chickenshed Theatre

Chickenshed Theatre is hosting its second-annual ‘Wonder Walk’ event to help raise vital funds for the charity.

The event on the morning of Sunday, 8th June, will see groups of eager walkers setting off to complete either a 5km or 10km local route around the “beautiful areas” surrounding Chickenshed.

Registration costs £17.50 for adults and £12.50 for under-16s, with under-fives able to join for free. The sign-up cost includes a t-shirt and goody pack.

Hundreds of people are expected to participate and by taking part in this fun yet rewarding challenge, they’ll be supporting Chickenshed’s vital work with young people and local communities, helping the charity reach its ambitious fundraising goal of £40,000.

There will also be a ‘Tales Trail’ along both routes; perfect for little ones to enjoy a “magical outdoor adventure”.

Wonder Walk starts from 9.30am outside Chickenshed Theatre, 290 Chase Side, Southgate (N14 4PE), with the walk departing at 11am. For more information and to sign up:
