Met officer charged with Edgware assault to appear in court tomorrow

PC Began Ozmen was charged after an incident that allegedly took place while carrying out an arrest in July last year

A police officer will appear in court tomorrow an assault charge following an incident in Edgware in July.

PC Began Ozmen was charged after an alleged assault on the victim after attending an address in Edgware on Tuesday 2nd July 2024 to conduct an arrest following an allegation of ABH.

PC Ozmen, who is currently on restricted duties, was charged with common assault and will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Tuesday 28th January).
