One delay on the M1 for Barnet drivers to avoid reports Will Grimond, Data Reporter
Barnet’s motorists will have a road closure to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And it is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a holdup of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure is due to start over the next two weeks:
• M1, from 10pm January 20th to 5am January 21th, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 1 to junction 2 and A406 westbound, Link, slip road and carriageway closure for Urgent loop repairs, diversion via Local Authorities roads.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
