Three closures for Barnet drivers to avoid on the A1 and M1 reports Will Grimond, Data Reporter

Drivers in and around Barnet will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And they are all are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• M1, from 10pm November 12th to 5am November 20th, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 1 to junction 2, Lane and Elevated slip road closure, diversion via Local Authorities roads.

And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• A1, from 10pm November 19th to 5am November 20th, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A1(M) northbound, junction 1 to junction 3, carriageway closure, entry slip road closure and lane closures for maintenance works, diversion Via National Highways and local authority roads.

• A1, from 10pm November 25th to 6am November 30th, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 1 to junction 5, Carriagway cand slip road closuefor resurfacing, diversion via Local Authorities roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
