Three delays on the M1 for Barnet drivers to avoid reports Sonja Tutty, Data Reporter

Barnet’s motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And they are all are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

• M1, from 10pm November 4th to 5am November 6th, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 1 to junction 4, Lane closures, slip road closures and carriageway closure for maintenance works, diversion via TFL roads.

• M1, from 10pm November 6th to 5am November 12th, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 1 to junction 2, Lane and slip road closure for Joint replacement works, diversion via Local Authorities roads.

• M1, from 10pm November 12th to 5am November 20th, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 1 to junction 2, Lane and Elevated slip road closure, diversion via Local Authorities roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
