An online giant says it is “excited” to be investing in Mill Hill as it prepares to open a new delivery station in October.

Amazon will open the 100,000 square foot site at Pentavia Retail Park in Mill Hill and says it will bring “approximately 80 new jobs” to the area.

The company says that salaries for “full time on-site roles” start at  £31,824 a year.

They say the site will serve customers across the Barnet area and will also create “hundreds of additional driver opportunities” through its delivery service partners programme.

Prajvin Prakash, country director for Amazon Logistics, said: “We’re excited to be investing in this area with a new delivery station that will create permanent roles for the local workforce here, and help us deliver even faster for customers.”
