Barnet drivers face two delays on the A1 reports Marieta Marinova, Data Reporter

Drivers in and around Barnet will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And they are both are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• A1, from 10pm August 14th to 5am August 15th, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 1 to junction 5, carriageway closure and slip road closures for Parapet replacement works, diversion via TFL and local authority roads.
• A1, from 10pm August 19th to 5.30am August 23rd moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 5 to junction 1, Lane closures, slip road closures and carriageway closures for testing works, diversion via local authority and TFL roads.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
