Police are appealing for potential witnesses and victims to come forward following a series of linked sexual assaults near Brent Cross Station earlier this month.

Four sexual assaults were reported to police between Saturday 3rd August and Tuesday 6th August, and officers suspect the same man – who has been arrested and charged – was responsible for all the assaults.

Detective Inspector Neal Heffernan, who is leading the investigation, said: “We already have arrested and charged a suspect however, it is possible that the suspect could have assaulted other women who are yet to come forward.

“Please don’t feel like any incident is too small. We need the courage of the victims to report to us in these matters so we can make sure their attackers are stopped and prevented from further harassing and assaulting women.

“If you frequent Brent Cross station and have been assaulted or seen anyone being assaulted by the man in the photo, described as a black male, wearing a black tracksuit and balaclava and was seen to be riding a lime bike, then please come forward to us.”

The suspect has been charged with four counts of sexual assault, one count of kidnap with intent to commit a sexual offence, exposure and causing another to engage in sexual activity without consent.

He appeared at Willesden Magistrates court on Friday, 9th August and has now been remanded to appear at Harrow Crown court on Friday, 6th September.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed any of the incidents or has any information to come forward by calling 101 stating CAD7096/06AUG24 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous.
