Barnet Council’s community skip service have announced new dates for Barnet residents to dispose of up to three large unwanted household items.

Community skips are available at various locations across the borough on a rolling schedule.

Those wishing to dispose of items can bring three items to the Community Skip every three months.

Guidance on using the Community Skip service.

Skips are available between 7am and 1pm on the stated day.

Those wishing to use the service must prove that they live in Barnet by bringing a Council tax or utility bill.

Users are advised that they will not be able to park close to the skip, so should be prepared to bring help for large and heavy items.

On arrival users need to queue up on foot with items before showing proof of address to a member of Barnet staff.
