Councillor highlights Burnt Oak events

Cllr Kamal Gurung called on residents to attend events taking place in his ward as part of the London Festival of Architecture

 A Burnt Oak councillor has welcomed two London Festival of Architecture events being planned for the ward.

Cllr Kamal Gurung said “These activities are great exercise, and a great chance for people to get to know Burnt Oak better.”

On Saturday 22nd June there will be a guided tour of the Silkstream through three parks: Meads, Watling, and Silkstream(2pm- 4pm), meeting atGlobal News off licence on 249 Deansbrook Road.

The next week, The Three Churches Challenge – Saturday 29th June, 2pm-4pm, will explore three historic churches in Burnt Oak and will meet at St Alphage Church on Montrose Avenue.
