TfL have issued guidance for travellers who would usually use the station

Colindale Station has today (Friday 7th) been closed until December to enable major work to be carried out to provide step-free access and larger ticket hall.

Transport for London (TfL) have issued guidance for travellers who would have normally used the station. An additional bus route NL6 will run between Colindale and Hendon Central stations every 15 minutes on weekdays at peak times.

All journeys on route NL6 are free of charge. From Colindale, NL6 buses start outside 121 Colindale Avenue, stop at Aerodrome Road/Colindale Gardens, and terminate at Hendon Central station (Stop G). Towards Colindale, NL6 buses start at Stop E opposite Hendon Central station, stop at Aerodrome Road/Colindale Gardens, and terminate at Stop CA opposite Colindale Station.

Additionally, on bus route 186, fares will be refunded automatically if contactless or Oyster is used to travel between Mill Hill Broadway and Hendon Central. Passengers will need to touch in or out at either of these stations to get their money back, which may take up to a week for the refund to be processed.
