Barnet businesses invited to green breakfast briefing

Firms are invited to learn about Barnet’s progress to Net Zero and business help to go green

Barnet Businesses are invited to the third of Barnet Council’s Breakfast Briefing series, this time focusing on sustainability and Net Zero.

Attendees will hear from the council leadership about what the council’s targets means for business owners, the benefits of reducing the carbon footprint of a business and will have the chance to meet with organisations from Barnet and beyond providing free advice and support for businesses to become more sustainable.

There will be stalls hosted by North London Waste Authority and Barnet Street Scene, Barnet Skills Centre, BOOST, Smarter Society, Better Future+ and more offering practical advice on how businesses can reduce their carbon footprint, find local suppliers, cut costs and partner with the council.

There will be will also be a Q&A session with the council leader, Cllr Rawlings and Cllr Schneiderman.

The event takes place at Brent Cross Town Pavilion, 145 Claremont Road, London NW2 1FE on Wednesday 12th June from 8.30am to 10.45am.
