A sustainable food event, with food dye crafts and kitchenware swap is taking place between 5pm and 7pm on 10th April 2024 at The Jewish Vegetarian Society in Finchley.

The event is the second event organised by Finchley Sharing Space, an initiative where Barnet residents can showcase their hobbies, share skills with others and take climate and social action.

The Jewish Vegetarian Society will have a professional cooking demo kitchen up and running. This event is open to the entire Barnet community, and aims to showcase the borough’s diverse cultures and cuisines.

Attendees will also be able to take part in making prints from natural food-waste dye and ‘rescued’ flowers with textile artist, Sharon Mitchell and are invited to bring any kitchenware in great condition and take home new-to-you items as part of a kitchenware swap.

The event takes place at Jewish Vegetarian Society, 855 Finchley Road London NW11 8LX.
