Two delays on the M1 for Barnet drivers to avoid reports Andrew Dowdeswell, Data Reporter
Barnet’s motorists will have two road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a holdup of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• M1, from 10pm February 13th to 5am February 14th, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 3 slip road, slip road closure for electrical works, diversion Via National Highways roads.
• M1, from 10pm February 15th to 6am February 17th, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 northbound, junction London Gateway to junction 4, Lane closures for CCTV Upgrade works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
