Five delays on the M1 for drivers in and around Barnet to avoid reports Marieta Marinova, Data Reporter

Drivers in and around Barnet will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a holdup of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that five closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• M1, from 10pm December 11th to 5am December 14th, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 1 to junction London Gateway, Lane closures for electrical works.
• M1, from 10pm December 11th to 5am December 14th, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 4 to junction 2, Lane closures for electrical works.
• M1, from 10pm December 14th to 5am December 19th, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 1 to junction 2, Land and slip road closure for electrical works, diversion via National Highways roads.
• M1, from 10pm December 14th to 5am December 19th, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 3 to junction 1, Lane closure for electrical works.
• M1, from 10pm December 16th to 5.30am December 18th, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 2 to junction 4, Lane closure for railway inspections.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads are not included in their schedule.
