Drivers in and around Barnet will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And they are all are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• M1, from 10pm May 15 to 5.30am May 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 1 to junction 2, carriageway closure and entry slip road closures for inspections, diversion via TFL roads.

• M1, from 10pm May 15 to 5.30am May 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 4 to junction 1, carriageway closure, lane closures and entry slip road closures for urgent surveys, diversion via TFL roads.

And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:

• M1, from 10pm May 30 to 5.30am June 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 1 to junction 2, carriageway closure and entry slip road closures for inspections, diversion via TFL roads.

• M1, from 10pm May 30 to 5.30am June 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 4 to junction 1, carriageway closure, lane closures and entry slip road closures for urgent surveys, diversion via TFL roads.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads are included in their schedule.
