40 firefighters tackled the blaze on Heybourne Crescent

Three people were rescued from a Colindale flat yesterday afternoon by fire crews wearing breathing apparatus.
40 firefighters and six fire engines tackled the fire in the second floor flat on Heybourne Crescent having been called just after 2pm. The fire was under control soon after 3pm.
A woman and two men were led to safety, with one of the men being treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by London Fire Brigade and the Metropolitan Police
