12 Barnet establishments receive food hygiene ratings

12 local outlets have received ratings from the Food Standards Agency

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 12 of Barnet’s establishments by the Food Standards Agency.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to eight restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: JM Oriental at 28 Heritage Avenue; rated on November 10th

• Rated 5: Chartwells – Library Building at Middlesex University, The Burroughs; rated on November 8th

• Rated 5: Chartwells – Quadrangle Building Costa at Middlesex University, The Burroughs ; rated on November 8th

• Rated 5: Phillers Canteen Ltd at Development Site South West Of St Patricks Church Formerly Blocks on Tyrrel Way, Shearwater Drive; rated on November 3rd

• Rated 5: Ask Italian at Great North Leisure Park, Chaplin Square; rated on October 20th

• Rated 5: Select Lounge at 318 Ballards Lane; rated on October 20th

• Rated 4: Eat Tokyo at 14 North End Road; rated on October 17th

• Rated 4: Stranger Things Interactive Experience at 3 Tilling Road; rated on October 12th

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: Chartwells – Mdx. Building Bar at Middlesex University, The Burroughs; rated on November 8th

• Rated 5: Old Elizabethans Social Club at Old Elizabethans (Barnet) Memorial Playing Field Mays Lane, Barnet; rated on October 29th

Takeaways

Plus two ratings for takeaways:

• Rated 5: Shakekhan T/A Shaketastic at 865 High Road; rated on November 9th

• Rated 5: Tikka Massala at 198 West Hendon Broadway; rated on October 23rd
