The latest expected works list from National Highways shows that 10 closures are due to start this week

National Highways is the agency responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads

Barnet’s motorists will have 10 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways – the agency responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads – shows that 10 closures are due to start this week:

• M1, from 10pm September 13 to 5.30am September 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 2 to junction 4, Lane closures for drainage works.

• M1, from 10pm September 15 to 5.30am September 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 2 to junction 1, Lane closure for Delam survey.

• M1, from 10pm September 15 to 5am September 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 1 to junction 4, carriageway and slip road closure for maintenance works, diversion via National highways network.

• M1, from 11pm September 16 to 5.30am September 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 2 to junction 4, Lane closure for drainage works.

• M1, from 10pm September 19 to 5.30am September 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 3 to junction 1, Lane closures for Delam survey.

• M1, from 10pm September 19 to 5am September 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 1 to junction 4, carriageway and slip road closure, diversion via National highways network.

• M1, from 10pm September 21 to 5.30am September 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 2 to junction 3, Lane closures for Delam survey.

• M1, from 10pm September 21 to 5am September 27, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 4 to junction 1, carriageway and slip road closures for maintenance works, diversion via National highways network.

• M1, from 10pm September 22 to 5am September 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 northbound, junction1 to junction 2, Lane closure for barrier inspection works.

• M1, from 10pm September 22 to 5am September 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 3 to junction 4, Lane closure for barrier inspection works.
