Road closures: five for Barnet drivers this week

Drivers in and around Barnet will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But the news isn’t too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways – the agency responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads – shows that five closures are due to start this week:

• M1, from 10pm September 5 to 5.30am September 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 2 to junction 1, Lane closures for boundary fence repairs.

• M1, from 10pm September 7 to 5.30am September 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 2 to junction 1, Lane closures for boundary fence repairs.

• M1, from 10pm September 8 to 5.30am September 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 2 to junction 1, Lane closure for drainage works.

• M1, from 10pm September 15 to 5.30am September 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 2 to junction 1, Lane closure for Delam survey.

• M1, from 10pm September 19 to 5.30am September 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 3 to junction 1, Lane closures for Delam survey.
