Man arrested following car crash on Colney Hatch Lane

The 28-year-old was arrested following a crash that left a 12-year-old girl in a life-threatening condition

A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of Causing Serious Injury by Dangerous Driving following a crash on Colney Hatch Lane which left a 12-year-old girl in a life-threatening condition.

The man was arrested yesterday following a collision between Vauxhall Astra and a Bentley Continental on Saturday evening.

The girl, who was one of occupants of the Astra, sustained critical injuries and remains in hospital.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating and they are appealing for any witnesses, and anyone with dash cam or mobile phone footage, to contact them by calling Serious Collision Investigation Unit number 020 8246 9820
