Taking action on climate change can be empowering, rewarding, and often easier than we think. Small changes in our daily lives can make a real difference.

As part of Barnet Climate Action Week, we are delighted to welcome Creative Sensemaking CIC to campus on Tuesday 13th October, from 12pm to 5pm in the Quad.

Creative Sensemaking CIC has developed a range of interactive sustainability games designed to help people explore practical ways to reduce waste, lower their environmental impact, and engage with climate action. Thanks to support from a small grant provided by the North London Waste Authority, these activities are being offered free of charge to community groups, schools, and universities.

Come along to:

  • Take part in fun and engaging sustainability games
  • Learn practical actions you can take to reduce your environmental impact
  • Discover simple ways to live more sustainably
  • Access useful information and resources on climate action

Whether you stay for a few minutes or a few hours, everyone is welcome to participate. We look forward to seeing you there!

We are proud that we were at the forefront of reporting on the recent local elections. We can’t do this without the support of our readers.

Independent news outlets like ours – reporting for the community without rich backers – are under threat of closure, turning British towns into news deserts.
