Man charged with murder following death of woman in Finchley

A New Southgate man has been charged with murder following the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old woman in Finchley in June.

Jamie Duncan, 21, of Highgrove Close was charged with murder and three counts of possession of a firearm on Sunday, 23rd August.

Police launched a murder investigation following the death of the woman an at address in Dale Grove on Monday, 8th June.

Duncan was arrested in Spain on 23rd August and appeared at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 1st September.

He was remanded in custody and a trial is due to start at the same court on Monday, 7th June.
