Four men plead guilty to Golders Green ambulance attack

The men pleaded guilty to destroying or damaging property being reckless whether life would be endangered

Four men have pleaded guilty to their role in an attack on Hatzola ambulances in Golders Green in March.

The attack on the ambulances used by the volunteer-led Jewish community organisation in the early hours of Monday, 23rd March is one of a series of antisemitic incidents in and around Barnet this year.

Hamza Iqbal, 20 and Rehan Khan, 19 both from Leyton, Saif Ali, 18 from Walthamstow and Judex Atshatshi, 18 from Dagenham all pleaded guilty to destroying or damaging property being reckless whether life would be endangered at the Old Bailey this afternoon.

They have been remanded in custody and are likely to be sentenced in spring 2027.

A fifth man, Subhan Ahmed, 18 from Walthamstow pleaded not guilty in relation to assisting an offender, contrary to section 4 of the Criminal Law Act, 1967.

He has been released on bail with strict conditions. His trial date has yet to be set.
