Natalie Perez, 32, from Edgware was remanded in custody on Monday following the incident in Colindale on Saturday

An Edgware woman has been remanded in custody after being charged with firearms offences following an attack at a council office.
Natalie Perez, 32, of Blundell Road, appeared at Willesden Magistrates Court on Monday (6th July) charged with criminal damage, making use of an imitation firearm with intent to resist arrest and possession of a firearm while committing a schedule one offence (criminal damage).
The charges follow an incident in the early hours of Saturday morning when police were called to reports of criminal damage at Barnet Council’s housing office in Bristol Avenue, Colindale.
Following the call shortly after midnight, a police spokesman said: “When officers attended the scene, a woman allegedly discharged an imitation firearm towards them. The officers were not injured, and the 32-year-old woman was arrested.”
At her court appearance, Perez was remanded in custody. She is due to appear at Harrow Crown Court on Monday, 3rd August.
A spokesperson for Barnet Council said: “The Metropolitan Police have arrested an individual in connection with an incident overnight on Saturday at the council’s Housing Options office.
“Our community safety team are supporting police enquiries. This is a live police investigation so we cannot comment on the details of the case.”
