The memorial wall in Limes Avenue contains pictures of people who were allegedly killed by the Iranian state

A man has been charged with attacking a memorial wall in Golders Green.
Ali Reza Fallahi, 45, from Ilford was charged with arson following the attack on the wall in Limes Avenue on Monday, 27th April.
Police say the wall contains pictures of people who were allegedly killed by the Iranian state in January.
Fallahi, who is a dual British and Iranian national, is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (18th June).
Commander Helen Flanagan, head of Counter Terrorism Policing London, said: “This charge marks another step forward in one of the investigations into the series of arson attacks targeting the Jewish community and Iranian diaspora in London.
“We are determined to bring everyone involved in these incidents to justice.
“As always, I ask the public to remain vigilant and to contact police if you are concerned and feel something isn’t right.”
