Man assaulted in antisemitic attack in Golders Green

Police are calling for witnesses to come forward after a man was assaulted in Golders Green yesterday morning in an incident that is being treated as an antisemitic hate crime.

The man, in his 20s, was assaulted by a group of men outside a property in Grove Road shortly after 2am on Monday, 18th May.

Police say they attended soon after the incident and spoke to the victim, who was later treated in hospital for injuries to his face and back.

No arrests have been made so far and police enquiries continue.

The police are asking anyone with information to contact them on 101, quoting CAD 542/18MAY.

This is the latest in a series of racist attacks on members of the Jewish community in north London including the stabbing of two men in Golders Green at the end of last month.
