Anne Clarke joined Colindale Communities Trust to celebrate the funding received as part of the Loved and Wanted Fund’s support for community spaces across London

Barnet’s London Assembly member joined a community group last week to celebrate a grant from a new community-focused fund.
At an event on Tuesday, 17th February, Anne Clarke, assembly member Barnet and Camden, welcomed the support for Colindale Communities Trust from the Mayor of London’s Loved and Wanted Fund.
The fund supports activities designed to “build relationships among Londoners from different communities and faith backgrounds” and “improve access to the support and services Londoners need to participate fully in community life”, and is providing grants of up to £60,000 to 30 community spaces across the capital.
Clarke said: “It was a pleasure to join Colindale Communities Trust in welcoming this new funding from City Hall.
“Across London, we’re already coming together, embracing our differences, and finding common ground. This funding will help community groups go even further, fuelling their incredible work.
“This is a positive step towards bringing people together in Barnet, strengthening cohesion and creating a safer, more united future for London.”
