A man and a women were declared dead at the scene of the blaze in Albemarle Road last night

Two people have died in a fire in East Barnet in the early hours of this morning.
The blaze was located on the ground floor of a semi-detached house in Albermarle Road.
A man and a woman were removed from the property by firefighters but were declared dead at the scene.
The fire brigade was called to the property at around 1.45am and had the incident under control by around 3.15am.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by London Fire Brigade and the Metropolitan Police.
