Police search for family of man found dead at Edgware station

British Transport Police are seeking the next of kin of 42-year-old Rizwan Ahmeed reports Madison Yarbrough

British Transport Police are searching for the family of a man found dead at a station in Edgware. 

42-year-old Rizwan Ahmeed was found dead on the tracks at Edgware Underground Station on Wednesday 3rd September at around 7.15 am. 

Police arrived accompanied by paramedics, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene – no suspicious activity is suspected.

The Pakistani native lived in both London and Newquay. He had short black hair and a beard, and before his death he was wearing a black waterproof hooded coat and black jogging bottoms. 

Despite their best efforts, police have been unable to identify a next of kin or any family. 

Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 93 of 3 September.
