Liam Fairhead on his fight for justice

Hi, I’m Liam, I’m 20-years-old and for the last two years I’ve been fighting to get justice for my grandfather Alan Stroud. He was subjected to physical and emotional abuse by Apple Tree Court care home in Burnt Oak, Edgware. Too many care homes abuse the elderly and the vulnerable and think they can get away with it.

Elderly people’s lives are at stake. My grandfather was grabbed, pulled and pushed by carers causing bruising on his hands, arms and legs. He was called a big baby by carers when he called out in pain. He was pushed, pulled and abused by people he was supposed to trust.

Please sign my petition now and help me take this petition to my local MP to demand change now. This kind of negligent abuse that local councils allow to happen in care homes under their watch cannot go on anymore. Please share to as many people as possible and get the story of care abuse out there and help me demand change.
