Dan Tomlinson is asking local schoolchildren to design the card that he will send across the constituency during the festive season
The MP for Chipping Barnet is asking schoolchildren to get creative and design a Christmas card, which he will send across the constituency – and even to Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Children in primary schools across the constituency can send their designs to Dan’s office in Parliament by 1st November.
Dan, who elected as the first Labour MP for the constituency at July’s general election, said: “Children across the constituency, it’s time to get creative and design my first-ever Christmas card!
“I’m looking forward to seeing all of the wonderful designs I know our constituents will come up with. I will be sending my Christmas card across Barnet, to my colleagues in Parliament, and to the Prime Minister himself.”
Details of the competition are below.
How to enter
1. Get creative: Think of a Christmas, other faith or seasonal holiday card design that relates to your local area.
2. Put pen to paper: Create your design on A4, avoiding glitter and glue, and write your name, age, and school on the back.
3. Send it off: Send your design to Dan Tomlinson MP, House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA or take a picture or scan of your design and email to [email protected] by 1st November. Make sure to include a parent or guardian’s email and address with your submission.
4. Wait for the big reveal: The winner and runners-up will be announced in December.
