A Whetstone councillor has welcomed work being done to improve pavements in his ward.

Cllr Liron Woodcock-Velleman said: “Starting in Tuesday 11th June, pavements on Oakleigh Gardens will be repaired.”

He added: “This has been made possible because of Barnet Labour’s £100 million five-year investment in roads and pavements. This is just the start of improvements to come.”
