As part of a new project turning an empty property on The Concourse, Grahame Park in Colindale into a café, local are invited to get hands-on building planters and making plant pots.

Designers, Fisher Cheng, in partnership with local partners The Loop and Maxability, will be running a Planter and Ceramics workshop on Wednesday 26th June between 3pm and 5pm at No. 11, The Concourse.

Those attending will make planters out of reclaimed wood to decorate the outdoor space of the new Concourse Cafe, learning basic woodworking skills including how to use a hand saw, how to sand the wood and use a drill and screwdriver to assemble garden planters. Those who make it on the day will also be able to learn how to make clay plant pots, which will then be fired and glazed to collect at a later date.

Places are limited and should be booked via Eventbrite and priority will be given to local residents:

This event is supported by the London Festival of Architecture.
