The man was rescued from the blaze in Colin Park Road last night but died at the scene

A man died in a house fire in Colindale last night.
40 firefighters responded to the fire in a two floor semi-detached house on Colin Park Road, with the ground floor of the property and an outbuilding both being destroyed by the blaze.
The fire brigade was called shortly after 10pm and the fire was under control shortly before 11.30pm. Firefighters rescued a man from the property but he was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The fire is under investigation by London Fire Brigade and the Metropolitan Police.
