New delays on the A1 and M1 for Barnet drivers to avoid reports Marieta Marinova, Data Reporter

Barnet’s motorists will have two road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a holdup of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• M1, from 10pm May 29th to 5am May 30th, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 northbound, junction London gateway services to junction 4, Lane closure for technology replacement works.
• A1, from 10pm June 4th to 5am June 5th, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 1 to junction 4, carriageway closure and slip road closures for Parapet replacement works, diversion via TFL roads.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
