Man charged with murder after Burnt Oak death

A man has been charged with murder of a woman in Burnt Oak on Thursday.

Jalal Debella, 22, was due to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

The charges comes after emergency services were called to reports of a stabbing in Burnt Oak Broadway shortly before noon on Thursday (9th May).

A 66-year-old woman was treated for knife wounds but died at the scene.

Debella was arrested in the Colindale area on Thursday afternoon.
